About Us

Here at Ransome Fleet Solutions we pride ourselves in being a very successful family run company with over 35 years experience working in the Commercial Vehicle Sector.  The company was started back in 1981 by Graham & Margret Ransome and has grown over the years into a One-Stop-Shop, and a well respected name in the Commercial Vehicle Industry.

We aim to meet the expectation and requirement needs of our customers whether a large PLC or a Single Vehicle Operator. Part of the success of Ransome Fleet Solutions is our ability to react to the ever changing market place ensuring we stay up to date with current Vehicle & Ancillary Technologies.

We as a company invest heavily in training, technology and most of all invest in good people with a wealth of experience to help move our business ever forward. With Leigh Westlake (Managing Director) and Samuel Ransome (Director) at the helm together with a team of experienced managers and technicians the company has grown from strength to strength, not only breaking into new areas of business, but also expanding to support products on a National basis.

We are also audited by the OEM manufacturers we support to ensure that we have the correct environmental processes in place for their equipment and comply with all relevant European legislation.

As we grow, our commitment to green practices will continue to grow with us. Reducing our own environmental impact and ensuring we provide the very best support to the commitments of our customers.

Always Moving Forward

As well as driving forward our support network, we continue to invest in the latest training and equipment for all our engineers so they can offer the right level of support whenever and wherever it is needed. This includes our workshop at Easter Park, Colchester where we can provide high quality repairs and cost-effective installation of new equipment into any vehicle.

We are also proud to be an approved installer of Motability equipment, and can carry out new Motability installations and repairs at our own workshops or at any customer’s workshop location.
